MTCMEDIA & PORSENI – Malang, July 24, 2024 – The Politeknik Tanah Laut (POLITALA) men’s beach volleyball team triumphed at PORSENI XIV 2024, winning the championship after defeating Politeknik Manufaktur Bangka Belitung (POLMAN BABEL) in the final match. In today’s final, POLITALA representatives Zainal and Ikwan defeated POLMAN BABEL’s Sugito and Hazipah with a final score of 2-0.
Zainal, wearing jersey number 1, mentioned that this is the second time he has won the beach volleyball title at PORSENI. He expressed his happiness at contributing to and winning this year’s PORSENI.
Despite the fact that their preparation was not 100% and Zainal from POLITALA Men’s Beach Volleyball had suffered a knee injury, he remained optimistic about this championship. They considered the Pontianak team to be their toughest competitor, but in the final, they faced off against POLMAN BABEL.
Their advantage in serving techniques, blocking, and counter-attacks provided them with an edge that was difficult for their opponents to overcome. The incredible support from the fans who filled the stands added to the historic moment, fueling the players’ determination until the final whistle.
Despite their individual busy schedules, Zainal and Ikwan made sure to invest time in strengthening their teamwork. They practiced together and communicated to build trust and cohesion.
Their relentless spirit and hard work demonstrate that nothing is impossible if we strive earnestly. This achievement is a tangible testament to the hard work and dedication of the POLITALA winning Men’s Beach Volleyball.
